PFC returns to ESPN with Hush. Presents Pillow Fight Championship

Hush Presents Pillow Fight Championship (PFC), the world’s only and premier professional pillow fighting league, is set to make its highly anticipated return to ESPN8: The Ocho, as part of the network’s ninth annual celebration of offbeat and adrenaline-charged sports. After a two-year hiatus from The Ocho lineup, PFC storms back onto the national stage on Friday, August 1 at 10 p.m. ET, broadcasting live from ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

First appearing on The Ocho in 2023, Pillow Fight Championship captivated audiences with its combination of athleticism, strategy, and pure entertainment. Now, Hush Presents PFC returns bigger than ever — headlining Friday evening’s primetime slate of competitions and reaffirming its place as one of The Ocho’s most talked-about attractions.

“Pillow Fight Championship delivers a unique mix of intensity and fun that embodies everything The Ocho stands for,” said PFC founder and CEO Steve Williams. “We’re thrilled to be back with ESPN and bring fans a front-row seat to some of the most exciting matchups in PFC history.”

PFC’s primetime feature will be part of a massive day of action from The Ocho’s first-ever live event hub at ESPN Wide World of Sports, where 11 competitions will unfold before live audiences. The day also includes fan favorites like Major League Paintball, the National Dodgeball League Championships, and the Pop-A-Shot National Championship.

“We’re not only going to match the intensity and excitement of the last time we were on The Ocho, we’re going to surpass it and once again have everyone talking about Professional Pillow Fighting,” added PFC Chief Content Officer Kevin Powers.

Now in its ninth year, ESPN8: The Ocho will air more than 65 hours of content across ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN Deportes and ESPN digital platforms from Thursday, July 31 through Sunday, August 3, including 30 new sports making their Ocho debut — the most in the event’s history.

On Friday night, The Ocho’s primetime trifecta will feature concurrent coverage across three networks, with Pillow Fight Championship’s return headlining ESPN2’s slate, alongside Extreme Archery and the National Dodgeball League Championships.

With its comeback timed for peak primetime exposure, Hush Presents Pillow Fight Championship is once again proving why it’s more than a novelty, it’s more than just a thing — it’s a full-contact phenomenon.
